If you have fewer than 150 guests per event, learn more about our Reservation Check-in and Online Manifest. Those solutions require no additional hardware, and allow you to offer a personalized experience where you greet your customer by name and mark them as checked-in or boarded.

If you have more than 150 guests per event, a ticket scanner may speed up your workflow and save valuable time with check-ins and boarding.

At its core, our ticket scanner is an iOS app that you download from the App Store.

It works on any iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.

If you're not yet familiar with our 2-phase check-in and boarding process, you should acquaint yourself with that first to be sure you understand how it works.

The ticket scanner will allow you to choose an event and then scan into phase 1 (reservation check-in) or phase 2 (manifest boarding), so you'll want to understand the differences.

Getting Started

If you're considering scanning tickets, we recommend that you go ahead and enable the feature in Admin->System Configuration->Workflow Settings.

Enabling the feature will add scannable QR codes to your online and email boarding passes so that you'll be able to scan them later if you choose.

You won't be required to use the ticket scanner, and you can always use the online check-ins or online manifests instead of, or in addition to, the ticket scanner.

Download the App

The first time you run the app, it will ask for your account subdomain.

Laser Hardware

The ticket scanner can be used without any additional hardware by leveraging the camera technology from your device.

If you really want to speed things up, you might consider adding an optional laser case and pistol grip.

The optional laser hardware can be purchased online or through our distributor.

If you're interested in this option, please let us know and we're glad to point you in the right direction.
