What is GetYourGuide?

GetYourGuide is an online marketplace for tours, activities, and attractions. It connects travelers with local tour operators and activity providers in destinations around the world, making it easy for people to discover and book unique travel experiences.

How the integration works

Similar to our Viator integration, our integration with GetYourGuide allows you to:

  1. Increase your sales by leveraging GetYourGuide's marketplace.

  2. Receive bookings directly from GetYourGuide into Starboard Suite.

Integrating GetYourGuide with Starboard Suite

If you've already signed up with GetYourGuide and would like to initiate the integration, click "Activate" on the GetYourGuide app in your Starboard Suite control panel under Admin->App Store.

Overlapping events on different resources

GetYourGuide doesn’t allow multiple events of the same event type/location at the same start time, even if they're scheduled on different resources.

For example:

  1. 6/1/2024 9:00 AM Sightseeing Cruise from Santa Barbara (on Resource 1)

  2. 6/1/2024 9:00 AM Sightseeing Cruise from Santa Barbara (on Resource 2)

If you think this situation may arise in your business, you should set up different event types for each resource/event type combination in Starboard and GetYourGuide.

For example, you could name your event types like this in both Starboard and GetYourGuide:

  1. "Sightseeing Cruise on Resource 1"

  2. "Sightseeing Cruise on Resource 2"

A note about calculations on the Concierge Voucher report

Unlike Viator, GetYourGuide does not provide us with information about their commission or Net, so the Concierge Voucher report will show the commission as 0, and the Net and Gross will be the same.
